Planting Guide
SEMI-ARID AREAS - February
February is perhaps the most challenging month of the year in semi-arid
areas. Some vegies, like beetroot, lettuce and brassicas, become rank when
grown in full sun of 40-45 degrees.
Either provide some shade in the afternoon, or wait until autumn. While the
plants below can possibly be planted
now, under normal conditions, very little planting is generally done by
serious gardeners in February.
If possible, delay planting until conditions are more appropriate.
