Global Garden won the inaugural Australian Horticultural Media Award for "outstanding achievement in communicating through a website or CD Rom" in Australia and New Zealand in 2002.
The Laurels are awards
for excellence and "recognize writers, photographers, educators
and broadcasters who have demonstrated exceptional creativity in communicating
the benefits and joys of gardening to the community" and are judged by a
panel of industry professionals.
The Information Technology Laurel is awarded for "outstanding achievement
in communicating through a website or CD Rom" in Australia and New Zealand.
